Balloon Ace introduces Melbloons

 Melbloons 1   Melbloons 2

Mid thirties Aussie guy. Originally from the Island of Tasmania but now residing in Melbourne, Australia (the Mel part…. bloons is understandable I hope). Self employed and very busy with both work and family, so photography and photoshoots tend to happen sporadically, and never on a time frame.

How / when did you get into balloons?
Always. For as long as I can remember. Kicked off during teenage years but tried to keep it hidden, as most of us do.

What do you like about balloons?
There’s a lot I like. The texture, the scent, the strength of them, the look, the unpredictable nature of them is a rush too!

What is your favourite balloon and why?
That’s almost like asking who my favourite child is! But not really….. Always loved the Qualatex 24” and they feature in a lot of my photos. But it can depend on the shoot, or the setting, or the company I’m with as to which is my favourite “at this moment”.

What is the most exciting thing you have done with balloons?
There’s so many to really name or list! Photoshoots are always exciting! And they offer an experience with them that is thrilling, fun, and innocent at the same time. Sharing my kink/obsession with someone for the first time is exciting too. As much as it’s a fetish, I try to keep the full fetish nature of balloons out of my shoots (mostly, not always) as I believe there’s enough sexualisation of it out there already.

Is there anything you would like to try with balloons?
I’ve never tried a climb in. And also….. and this might be a surprise, but I’ve never been present or filmed or photographed a blow to pop before. That is something I do want to try.

How did you get into producing online balloon content?
I love taking photos. I love balloons. Most content was stuff I didn’t really like, and it’s mostly clips. I wanted to try to create high quality still images. Primarily for my own collection. As much as it’s thrilling, it’s also something I’m comfortable with, and feel more like myself if I involve balloons in a shoot, and don’t feel pressure to create something amazing.

Do you make any content which does not feature balloons?
I certainly do. I love taking photos of landscapes and the night sky. And also some lego from time to time. But I neglect those Instagram pages. They are @sdf_images and @lego_shots_melb

Where can we find your clips?
I just upload here on Instagram. I haven’t set up anything online or sell. I have made a few clips before as customs where we work it out with the particular model if she’s available or willing. Or if I’m available and willing. Sometimes the model will sell from her own page or upload to onlyfans such as MissRipperLoons…. who I introduced balloons too, and I couldn’t be happier that I did!

Do you make custom content?
I get the odd request via Instagram. I’m happy to converse with people. But as I don’t have set models, models are often traveling, covid is hampering us too. So it can get difficult to organise. I do get a lot of messages though, so apologies if I’m slow at replies, or I forget!

Final thoughts
On the whole, the community is awesome. I get a few rude people that want everything for free. Or people wanting to marry me or calling me cute (My name, gender, and location is in my instagram profile people). So I can only guess the kind of messages some of the models get. I do have a decent sized blocked list. People need to remember to be kind, courteous, respectful, and not ask for free stuff. Balloons aren’t cheap, camera gear isn’t cheap, models aren’t cheap. Most understand it, and I have a few good friendships in the community.
