As we enter the month of May we approach the start of summer here in the realms of Northern England. For you non-Brits this means occasional sunshine, less rain and longer daylight. For you non Yorkshire folk this means 'that yer big coat can be put away!'.

Here at Balloon Ace summer is a quieter period for us, people have more pressing things to focus on rather than buying balloons such as summer holidays (vacations for your US friends), weddings, barbecues, days out and gardening.

During the quiet times we focus on coming up with new ideas for our store in terms of new artwork, new balloons and innovative things to bring to the balloon community. We have certainly had our thinking caps on and have some exciting things planned for the month of May to help you step into summer.

All will be revealed in due course but it is fair to say that as May is our anniversary month that things will be different to other years and also more exciting!

May is a big month for us as it is Balloon Ace's anniversary month. This May Balloon Ace will be six years old.

Time flies as the saying goes!

For the previous five years we have always released a limited edition anniversary logo balloon on each of our anniversaries. However, this year will be different at Balloon Ace. Two months ago we made a conscious decision to release a special balloon which was only available for free with purchases. This special balloon is now a more appropriate celebration than an anniversary balloon.

To maintain Balloon Ace's position as the worlds best, friendliest and most community focussed balloon shop we feel that for our sixth anniversary we need to do something which gives something back to the people (you guys) who have made it possible for us to do what we do. We don't want to share too many details now as we want to build up the suspense and make things a surprise.

Stay tuned! all will be revealed. Although as sneaky peak we have introduced a new kind of saver pack in a change from our previous Looner Packs.

In other news we are happy to say that Looner Succubus will be returning soon and featuring Balloon Ace balloons in her content! We have collaborated with Looner Succubus on many occasions and she is one of the strongest advocates and biggest supporters of Balloon Ace that we have ever experienced. Be sure to check out her content and giver her some support.
