Refund policy
Your right to cancel
All European Union nationals (whose exclusive residence and address of delivery are located within the European Union) have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reasons per the requirements of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party nominated by you (at the time of ordering) acquires, physical possession of the goods. To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us either in writing (to: A Little Saxon Company Limited, 2 Brown Hill Close, Birkenshaw, BD11 2AS, United Kingdom) or via email (to: general.balloon.ace@gmail.com) within the required 14 day timeframe.
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you*, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us) without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
*We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back in full and in saleable 'as new' condition.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will bear the entire direct cost of returning the goods to us. The shipping costs which you paid at the time of ordering from Balloon Ace are considered to be 'sunk costs' and are also not refunded.
You will also be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Please note; your right to cancel does not apply for consumers who, at the time of concluding the contract, are not nationals of a member state of the European Union or the United Kingdom and whose exclusive residence and address of delivery are located outside of the European Union or the United Kingdom. We will use our discretion to accept returns for customers outside of these jurisdictions.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days per the requirements of UK law and EU legislation. Per the requirements of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 we need to be notified within 14 days of your intent to request a return. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase or you did not notify us within 14 days unfortunately we can not offer you a refund or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) listed below:
1, Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
2, Any bursted balloons will not be refunded
3, Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your refund claim is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Due to varying processing times at your bank, it might take up to 10 business days for the refunded amount to be received.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at general.balloon.ace@gmail.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at general.balloon.ace@gmail.com and send your item to: A Little Saxon Company Limited, 2 Brown Hill Close, Birkenshaw, Bradford BD11 2AS, United Kingdom.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: A Little Saxon Company Limited, 2 Brown Hill Close, Birkenshaw, BD11 2AS, United Kingdom
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £20, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Proof of shipping does not constitute as proof of delivery.
It is the customers' responsibility to provide correct the correct shipping address and receive the order. We reserve the right to deduct shipping costs on refunds where the customer has provided an incorrect shipping address or has not collected the order from the post office.
Import Duty
Non UK customer's are responsible for paying import duties and import taxes per local government laws. In some locations the goods may not be released from customs until all import duties and import taxes and taxes are paid in full.
Please note that in the instance of an order cancellation A Little Saxon Company Limited are not responsible for the customer's import duties and import taxes (paid or unpaid). A Little Saxon Company Limited will not refund for import duties and import taxes which the customer may have paid or may owe.
In instances where the customer refuses to pay any outstanding import duties and import taxes and decides to cancel the order. A Little Saxon Company Limited retain the right to recover any additional costs incurred as a result of the actions caused by the customer (additional costs such as, but not limited to customs fees, import brokerage fees, mail courier / postal service fees etc..). Please note that these costs will be deducted from any refund requested by the customer.
In instances where the customer refuses to pay any outstanding import duties and import taxes and the order is not returned to A Little Saxon Company Limited. No refund will be provided. In this situation A Little Saxon Company Limited reserves the right to recover any additional costs incurred as a direct result of the customer refusing to pay such import duties and import taxes where they are incurred.
The customer is considered to be the importer under international tax law and it is the customers' responsible to pay the correct import duty / import tax. Please refer to your local government / customs website for details of your responsibilities and import duty / import taxes in your location.
Items not purchased from us
We do not refund or exchange items not purchased from us.
